
Jill Allen – Social Services
Jill is the development director for Franciscan Workers of Junipero Serra, whose programs include Dorothy’s Kitchen, Women Alive! Emergency Shelter, and House of Peace. For the last eighteen years, Jill has provided management services to the public benefit sector, specializing fund development, program management, administrative development, public relations and strategic planning.

Larry S. Hirahara – Community Member
Larry represents the Buddhist Temple of Salinas and the Japanese-American Community on the Salinas Downtown Community Board, The Temple has been in the Chinatown area since 1924 and is the largest property owner in the area. Larry is Past Chairman of the SDCB and active in these Action Groups: Asian Cultural Experience (ACE), Asian Festival, and Safety, Sanitation and Social Services (SSS).He has been involved with Salinas Valley Agriculture for over 40 years.

Glorietta Rowland – Government
Glorietta Rowland, Management Analyst with the Department of Social Services, resides in Salinas. She has been involved in non-profit management for many years and has been instrumental in the development of several successful projects focused on homeless services. Glorietta has also volunteered with local community organizations including Seaside Rotary, the Monterey County Commission on the Status of Women, Salinas Traffic Commission, Salinas Blue Ribbon Committee and the Action Council of Monterey County.

Marilyn Dorman – Social Services
Marilyn retired as the Executive Director of the Housing Resource Center in 2011. She grew up in Salinas. Her community involvement has included serving on the Salinas Parks and Recreation Commission, Planning Commission, several local boards of directors, and is active in her church.
